Compared to the A5 (normal):
Speed: +10%
Battery life: -15% (but still a lot better then a normal phone)
Audio: slightly better using normal output, not louder
Portability: still ok, not much of an issue, but I like the bigger screen of the A7CC for maps and browsing.
Reading: on the A7CC i use Koreader night mode (white text on black) and then it works really well, for normal mode (black text) i prefer the A5 because its clearer.
Color shines when browsing, it gives so much more information. Same with pdf with text and pictures mixed.
All in all.
If I only go hiking on a fixed route and do a lot of reading when im resting i prefer the lighter and better for reading A5. As I hike in remote areas I prefer the longest battery life so the A5 is a better choice.
If I go cycling Ill use more mapping software like Osmand and Komoot I like the A7. Also weight is less a problem when cycling.
