Yes, and imo Yes. YMMV of course, but I find I get good value out of it, especially when they have deals that give multiple bonus points - like 2X for regular members, 5X for VIPs. Those deals help me get enough points for 2-3 extra 'free' books a year, besides the VIP-only promo discounts.
