I did unplug the device when I noticed it was frozen and didn't want to mount or be found by calibre. Nothing worked. I suppose it's cool to know the led is meaningless. So, does that mean the software decided it should be kept on?
Let's hope the new one will not have the same issues. I will save a backup of the contents of the old one. If there's interest in any logs or settings files etcetera, let me know.
