Here's the basic "dummy" guide.
Spoiler:
Create a Google Drive folder with your books in it. Make it accessible to anyone on the Internet who has the link.
Connect your Kobo to your Chromebook and enable "View hidden files" in the top right corner.
Drop KoboRoot.tgz into the .kobo folder on your Forma.
Eject, watch it reboot.
Connect it to your PC (or Chromebook) again.
Open .add/kobocloud/kobocloudrc in a text editor.
Note: Not .adds, but .add.
Put the link to your Google Drive folder in kobocloudrc. Example:
Code:
#Kobo Cloud hack
#Google Drive link:
https://drive.google.com/sjalihsigkfdjnhkbimdfhdibhdnmshgkgfdmsjbnskdughksdnfjksdhgisdkhgbkivilshluyuerghskjdfg

Make sure you put a comment before AND after your link. (Comments start with #)
Sync.
