Interesting. The Kobo Forma has a 1200 mAH battery while the Likebook Ares Note has a 12.18 WH (translates to 3200 mAH) battery. Yet the Forma gets weeks of battery life while the Likebook Ares Note lasts 5 days at most with several reports of 30-40% per day (reading, front light around 20%, WiFi off) as per many complaints around the Internet.
Just for another fun comparison, the Likebook Ares Notes weighs in at 295 grams while a new iPad Mini weighs in at 300 grams with a 19.1 WH (5000 mAH) battery. The Likebook Ares Note is available from Amazon.ca for $672.99 Cdn with 32GB storage while the iPad Mini clocks in at $529 Cdn for 64GB or $729 Cdn for 256GB (ouch!). The Ares display is 7.8", 1404x1872 with 16 greys while the iPad Mini display is 7.9", 1536x2048 with a P3 wide colours profile.
