Maybe. It depends. The automatic conversion from ePub to PDF could have a poor layout if the ePub is more than text or the automatic conversion could insert layout errors in pagination (table, floating images, font coding...) I can discover weeks after I made the conversion. In ePub I can adjust the font-size and margin to have the best render for the Note3, and after begin to work with handwriting note. No zoom at all.

But there is another reason: I'm not in love with PDF. It is a dirty format. I prefer the ePub, I can do more "manipulations" with this format and I'd like to support Onyx for this feature because it is very cool (when it works).
