Any rudeness came about because you did not pay attention to what you were being told. You kept blaming the Kobo Utilities plugin after being told it was in no way involved. And I explicitly asked some questions which you didn't bother with. Answering them would have solved this faster.

Nonetheless, as I stated... There were two main issues brought up. The conversion issue appears to have been resolved at some point after an update. It didn't work, the book was physically on the device in kepub format as viewable in windows explorer. But the device didn't see it. After troubleshooting many things I had just assumed it still wasn't working, which i have stated was an error. But after testing it more recently it did work, with no change but updates and the kobo utilities database file fix, which i assume was unrelated as we discussed.

There is absolutely no evidence that the conversion was a problem. You eventually mentioned in passing another problem. That was actually a symptom of the real problem. And the book not importing was probably another symptom of the same problem. At the very least, that other problem needed to be fixed before worrying about why any one book had not been imported on the device.

The font and layout issues were the presence of the additional font variants and nothing you had mentioned with naming or otherwise. And the relation was not obvious, but reading the wiki another use posted mentioned the variants issue and that led to the resolution of removing the extra font variants. So both are working now and I'm good.

And you showed as much attitude as I did. You reactions to the questions about the fonts was not good.
