Apps which need internet can check on server side installed app version to show a "please update app" nag screen and app does close then. You lost your app!
With an old android you can't update in play store, because Android doesn't fulfill minimum framework version.
When you sideload via Aurora Store you can download app but you can't install because Android doesn't fulfill the needed framework again.
You are trapped.
Most framework request are fake because no newer function is used in app which doesn't exist in older ones. It is just a "we don't want to bother with costumers with older tablets".
Sometimes editing manifest.xml does help to install app as normal.
