Thank you for the image.

I have written the image multiple times to multiple micro SD cards (using dd from Linux cli) and my Kobo Glo HD fails to boot, the device will power on, red LED illuminates, no screen change.

I have attempted the manual factory reset method (last method) described here with no luck: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kob...ing_squares.22

Is the image compressed or modified in some manner? The dd image provided is 1.98GB but that seems a bit odd to me as I am under the impression that the only storage option for the Kobo Glo HD was 4GB. Would a 1:1 image of a 4GB micro SD card not result in a 4GB disk image?

Is it possible I was provided an incorrect image? My only other option to investigate further at this time is to wire up a serial interface and see what is going on.
