In my environment, the student's lab computers are x64. The project they are working on is supposed to run on Raspberry Pi 4s. I was volunteered to help testing the cross compile process the students will be using in my "ample" spare time and CPU cycles. I really don't know why it was decided to do this using WSL 2 (Debian) instead of using Linux on the Raspberries though that may have simply been a matter of disk space.
