It's strongly advised to avoid placing calibre libraries on cloud services (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox). Yes, some people have had success but many others have encountered issues.
An approach I once used was to perform a one-way-sync from my PC to cloud services using FreeFileSync purely as a backup.
