Good thing. So everyone can read it, even if it doesnt concern them directly.
Indeed very interesting, someone, before to sign the NDA, seems to disclose the contents of a letter from someone at iRex

We do plan a tool to reflash the iLiad via a CF card however this is not yet fully functional
And here you can see the legalese of hiding the subforum: if this were a public statement from a iRex person in a public forum, then it could have legal bounds in some countries. To abstract: iRex do not participate very actively in open debugging because their programmers statements could be construed to be "promises" about the software, burdening them with obligations. On the other side, this makes the "developer forum" more credible (or burdened) as it implies it contains "aproved" promises.

(Also, the comment itself is open to criticism. If they are just speaking of a reflash utility for a working iLiad, it is clear it simply must to check the CF for the update fs.gz, copy it to the internal directory, enable the internal flag, and reboot the machine for the flash process to start. If they are speaking of a reflash tool for a hanging iLiad, ie one with a working start-up kernel but a defective filesystem, then the problem is that the CF card must be mounted from the kernel without any module and then they need most probably to compile a new one. BTW, I would like also/instead a SD card update).
