It sure would be nice to have Quick Page Turn available for epubs. We only have the feature on kepubs—books we download from Kobo's store or through Overdrive. There are two solutions you can try.

1) Use Calibre to convert your epubs into kepubs. That's what I usually do.
2) A kludge of a workaround can be found by tapping once in the middle of the page to bring up the task bar along the bottom, then tap once on the circle that represents your page location. Thumbnails will pop up. You can now tap and hold on either directional arrow to quick page turn through your ePub. This would only be useful if you are searching for a certain page, however, because dragging the page location circle to a new location is much faster.
