The plugin will always use a random invalid ASIN in v3.5.2 if the book doesn't have one. Before you try it out you have to delete the 'mobi-asin' id by right click the book -> Edit metadata -> Edit metadata individually.
Maybe some unknown values in the 'metadata' table of the kll file cause the problem. But I don't know what they are and how to get these values.
