When we talk about a 10.3" e-reader we think of a bulky, huge and heavy device. The reality is that it is much more like a paper book than a smaller e-reader. And we magnify problems we've never had before with a paper book. I was very skeptical of this size. I thought it was going to be very uncomfortable to use in any situation. And I was surprised to find that the reading experience is very pleasant. I like this size the best, but I understand that my personal tastes are not the same as someone else.

On the other hand, in bed I don't usually do prolonged reading. For short periods of time I see no downside to using a 10.3" e-reader. And for longer reading periods there are solutions perfectly adaptable to any situation. I use an octopus tripod where I place the e-reader (or a tablet if I want to watch a movie) that adapts perfectly to any position in bed (or anywhere else).
