Hi David, thank you. I did connect my device a few times after the collections were created and the empty shelves were not deleted. I did have the setting to delete empty shelves ticked. Plus at least four of the collections are not in Calibre, those were created directly on my previous Kobo e-reader. I can see how to create a collection on the Kobo, but not how to delete one.

It’s a mute point for my mew Libra as I’ve created a separate account for that device and will not be doing any collection maintenance directly on the Kobo, or buying any ebooks on that account, I just wondered how I could get rid of those collections if I ever link another Kobo e-reader to my previous account.
