Same. Just rebuilt my Win10 Pro box from scratch, reinstalled Calibre/DeDRM clean, works great on a couple new books.
Have not tested edge cases yet. For Kindle, I'm just importing new books off my PW so I don't have to bother sorting out which older version of Kindle-for-PC software I need in order for the DRM and format conversion tools to work.
For ebooks from ADE-based stores (like Google Play): Has anyone confirmed which version of ADE reader you need to have installed locally, to work with this new version of the DRM tools? Last time I bought an ADE book, I still had to use ADE v. 2.0. That version is so old and harder to find downloads, I started keeping an archived copy of the installer. The
current ADE version is 4.5.11, the concern is at some point it may not be possible to get the older versions that work with our DRM tools any longer.
