Previous models ran locked down android.

The earliest 13" screen model has a micro SD slot and supported standard USB mass storage for that and internal document storage. I don't know about the earliest smaller screen model that came out later. Models after that dropped the SD slot and only supported communication via a secret proprietary windoze only driver.

So the trend has not been in a good direction.

There are threads for the older models on the Sony forum. I don't see one for this one, maybe because there is no real evidence that this is from Sony.
