Hi All,

One more plea for help. I simply am not up on the best way to get a Word or LibreOffice/OpenOffice file into Sigil using plugins.

The "tutorial_convert_to_html.html" chapter in the user-guide is still promoting the filtered-html approach with no mention of using any of the plugins.

Would someone who is proficient with directly converting docx odf files via the plugins we have, please add a brief discussion of using them to get material into Sigil to what is already there. I do not want to remove the filtered html discussion, just augment it with plugin based approaches. Perhaps this is where the use of styles when writing using Word/LibreOffice/OpenOffice could/should be pointed out?

So would someone who has some experiance doing that or maybe one of the authors of the plugins that help support that please take a shot at that one chapter for me.

Or give me permission to steal from your plugin documentation, so that we can at least point people to additional ways to handle this.

Thanks!

Kevin
