Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff is $2.99 at Amazon US.
I read the book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It's a series of interlinked short stories and, really, the first one is by far the best. If the rest of the book never quite equals the beginning, it's still a very interesting and creative horror fantasy.
I haven't yet seen the TV series.
