I've never thought of the genre, sci fi, to be meaningful. There is certainly very little that I would even put in the category or remotely literary. Maybe 'A Brave New World'. I found this link:

A Brave New World is number 2 on that list. Station 11 on the list, which was pretty good. I recently purchased "The Man Who Fell to Earth" on an Amazon Deal of the Day.

Other than a handful, if I want literary quality, I look elsewhere.
