I own an Onyx Boox Poke running Android 4.4.4.

Today, Pocket announced that they're ending support for 4.4.4. Pocket is one of my most-used apps.

I'd love to keep this device working with Pocket. Is there any way to upgrade Android? I imagine I'd have to root this and possibly unlock the bootloader. Can it be done?
