Santa Fe Flavors, by Anne Hillerman, has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, and it's discountable at Kobo.
Per the blurb, Hillerman apparently was a restaurant critic before (and maybe while) continuing her father's Leaphorn/Chee/Manuelito series. I don't remember much food in either her or her father's books, and certainly not drooling over it as above ^^^, but this still looks like fun.
