You do know that the Artemis III mission is currently supposed to have two crew members for the lunar landing module with one each of female and male?
There have been multiple whinges already that there is no information on the racial, cultural, sexual orientation, etc. criteria for choosing those two crew members, that NASA does not have an affirmative action plan for recruiting astronauts who are non-Caucasian, non-heterosexual, non-Christian, non-any_crap_you_can_think_of.
From what I've read, some of issues that have been whinged about are that none of the 18 members of the Artemis team have come out of the closet, too many of them have military backgrounds, that having only 6 out of 18 "persons of colour" shows NASA is practising systemic discrimination, etc. You name it, someone is kvetching about it.
I am willing to wait until NASA announces the crew for Artemis III before starting to whine about their selection criteria.
