Kindle Oasis: killed by a KFX. Is that possible?

Well... after 3 years my beloved New Kindle Oasis is dead. And it seems that it was killed by a KFX that I sideloaded with the help of Calibre.

It is stuck at the splash screen (boy reading under the tree) and none of the voodoos based on pressing the start button for any amount of seconds is working. It happened just after I sideloaded a KFX file (5 indeed...) and eject it using the Calibre's eject button.

Is it possible to know for sure that a KFX file is by some way incompatible with a kindle device?

Thanks.
Regards.
