Well then,
I haven't used a Microsoft browser for years, generally when I do a new install of Windows, I go into "turn Windows features on or off" and turn off Internet
Explorer and use Firefox. I don't even have Edge, I'm using a version of Windows 10 which doesn't come with it.
I guess that wasn't a problem with earlier versions of Calibre or the plugins on Windows 7 because they always seemed to work using Firefox
So I turned on IE and went to the Goodreads and Fantastic Fiction websites and then tried the plugins and they worked.
I then turned IE back off just to see if the plugins would still work and they do, if they stop working in the future, I'll turn IE back on.
