Pocketbook is using the eInk Triton tech.
The eInk company is releasing some new tech for colour eInk displays on smaller devices this year, the big one probably ACeP, which was previously only available on much larger displays (to be used for signage and advertising, presumably). They managed to scale it down to the usual sizes you see in the eReader market.

It's kinda exciting to see how much interesting stuff could be happening with eInk devices in the next years. Having an ACeP screen in a new Kobo device would make it a killer application for comic books.
