The micro USB seats in the Kobo port with a nice click and seems solid, but that probably doesn't mean much if the issue is internal. You can wiggle it but that seems counter-productive, those micro ports and connectors are notoriously weak and deform easily.
I have the USB2 end connected to a USB 2 to USB-C adapter and that's not the tightest fit, but this doesn't happen with any of my other peripherals.

I just tried putting tape on the adapter end and the Libra stayed mounted for about 5 minutes, but that's been about the average anyway.

Then as usual, it will disconnect immediately with each attempt thereafter. I'm waiting on a new braided nylon micro to USB-C cable and bypass the adapter. I bought the Libra from Amazon, I'm becoming convinced that a lot of Amazon sells us are the QC rejects, if there is such a thing as QC anymore. Then, by the time problems surface, your return window is closed and since you purchased from a "seller" and not direct, you're S.O.L.
I'll have to try GetSatisfaction through Kobo. I digress, sorry.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions, and yeah the culprit is probably the Kobo port, because this is an isolated thing. Thanks again guys.
