And same for Blackman's Coffin, the first in the Blackman Agency series by Mark de Castrique, per @Mort1997's post up above - also free in the US. And the next three titles are on sale (probably because there are more in the series). Same caveats about checking carefully - I already have the first one at both Kobo and Kindle (must have been free before), but it doesn't show up as purchased on the book's individual page - just in my library for each site.

Note: the fourth title, Murder in Passing, although on sale at Kindle US, doesn't seem to be available at Kobo US. Probably a glitch since the rest of the series is there. At least, I can't find it...
