DH and I looked at houses in Countryside when it was new. Nowadays, it is completely surrounded by development. Right across Rt 7 is a regional shopping mall. The Sam's I went to is not far south of Countryside off of Rt 28 which is a 6 lane highway being converted to limited access i.e removing stop lights and adding interchanges. The same is happening to Rt 7. It's 6 lanes from the county line to Leesburg. Traffic is unbelievable.

Haymarket almost unrecognizable. Rt 15 at I66 has been razed for at least a mile south of I66. North of I66 is a huge outdoor concert venue.
