With ebooks it's easy, but not so easy with video streaming services. As long as georestrictions remain, so does rampant piracy. I'm not saying piracy would vanish completely along with georestrictions, there will always be people who want their content free of charge. But the pirating of movies and TV series would certainly lessen. That of ebooks probably not, as it's much easier to pirate ebooks than movies. Still, I think there are considerably fewer ebook pirates than movie pirates, simply because there are considerably fewer book readers than movie enthusiasts in general. And movies/TV series have much stricter georestrictions than ebooks (this from personal experience - while there are very few ebooks not legally available to me nowadays, there are tons of movies and TV series still not available to me from any streaming service, but perfectly available to people in Western Europe and US). Why it's still that way in the third decade of the 21st century is a total mystery to me.
