Crime Classics apparently have the e-publishing rights to most (all?) of Edmund Crispin’s Gervase Fen books in the US, but perhaps not so much in the UK, where most of his titles seem to be published by Collins Crime Club and/or Bloomsbury. Crime Classics have put five titles on sale in the US for $0.99 each from now through February 1, 2021. The titles are Holy Disorders, Swan Song (apa Dead and Dumb), Love Lies Bleeding, Buried for Pleasure, and The Long Divorce (apa A Noose for Her). Of these, only one appears to be on sale in the UK at £0.99, The Long Divorce. These were some of the earliest non-Christie British mysteries I read after reading and loving Sarah Caudwell’s too-short four book Hilary Tamar series, and they share a lot of the same dry British humor – or humour! Now here’s your chance to pick up 5 of the 11 books (including two books of short stories) in the series.
