So, to which date would 2021-03-06 refer; March 6th, or June 3rd??? That's easy to answer if the day is after the 12th...
I prefer the format: 5 Jun 2021
No ambiguity....everyone knows exactly what day you mean...and all the even somewhat current software can interpret the month into a number.
