My wife would probably agree with that... she talks Latin and word entomology all the time.

I remember someone saying something about why US english and British english were slightly different...they were originally the same, but the British aristocrats didn't want to be compared to those uppity commoners in America so started spelling/speaking differently. I have no idea if that is accurate...
