Sheesh, who wants more ads and recommendations. Totally useless for me too. But then, my homescreen is disabled anyway.
Sadly, I cannot even recall when was the last time a Kindle update was truly useful.
More and more pointless stuff in recent years. Or the stuff you can't use for sideloaded books. Much more of this and I might not even buy any more Kindles in the future.
