With a lot of books, when I convert to PDF or print to PDF, the output is almost totally garbled -- looks like a ton of overprinting. I am attaching a screenshot of the garbled conversion as viewed in a PDF reader. It looks like this in all PDF readers, including Kindle.

I am able to make a good PDF from it by converting to mobi, importing into Kindle for PC, and then using EPubor Ultimate. But this still feels like a Calibre problem to solve.

The input format is epub.
