Custom Column names cut off

I just updated Calibre Portable from 5.4.2 to 5.10.1 on Win10 64bit today and now a number of the custom column names are truncated on the Edit Metadata screen.
Is there a way to fix this? Without changing the layout view?
None of them are particularly long. The first two that are truncated are definitely no longer than 'Author Sort' on the Basic Metadata side. And there's clearly space to the left of them so I don't know why they're suddenly truncated.
I've attached a picture to show what I'm talking about. The first and third custom column are truncated as well as one down towards the bottom.

ETA: I'm using Compact Metadata view but changing the layout to Default or All On 1 didn't fix the issue either.
