Hi, I have a kindle Oasis and am on calibre 5.10.1 which I believe is the latest version.

When I connected my kindle to my Mac before, my kindle screen would go blank and calibre would automatically detect my kindle. I could then download ebooks onto my kindle.

My USB wire is working as kindle shows that its battery is being charged, but my kindle Oasis screen does not go blank and calibre does not recognize my kindle device has been connected.

Would anyone be able to help?
