Yep, most likely. At least I've tested that to work on already JB+hotfix PW4 prior to 5.13.4 update. Of course, if you've factory reset at any point after JB, then it's game over.

You only need to downgrade if you want to stay on older firmware. You lose the new series grouping feature but it's easier to block OTA updates on 5.11.x and older (install KUAL Helper+ add-on and enable Block OTA updates menu option). Preventing updates is also safer for JB as we don't know if/when a new firmware completely defeats JB+hotfix.

Again, you'd need to reinstall pretty much everything that was installed via MRPI: KUAL, Python, Screensaver, etc.
