Book cover generation - is there a fast way?

I rarely generate book covers, usually only when entering an "announced for the future" book that has no cover yet (I have a "Books Wanted" library of empty placeholder books).

But when I do generate these covers, is there any way to get through the available covers to the one you want quickly? There are a handful of cover graphics, and a handful of colors. When you click "Generate Cover" Calibre cycles through all these combinations, apparently randomly, since several covers may repeat before you get to the one you want. So it's click, click, click, click, click, click,... Sometimes I fall asleep during all that clicking and inadvertently click right past my target cover. Then I have 5000 more clicks to go through to get back to it.

Maybe is there some way to limit Calibre to only generating covers of one color? Or of one design? Then there wouldn't be so many combinations to have to click through.
