Pocketbooks are one of the few devices that actually turn off after the configured "sleep" time. Mine is configured for 10 minutes of sleep or so before it turns off.
Same for Boox devices, you configure a stand-by timer and a turn off timer.
If the device turns off, then the battery isn't really drained by the device, only charging degradation the battery has naturally.
