Thanks for your reply. Im new at this. Before I was able to use calibre with no problem. Yesterday I got the "bright" idea to plug two kindles into the computer at one time so I could move a book from one to the other. something bad happened. 11 That caused two things I think.(1) The kindles were not ejected and both had to have a restart (long push on button) to become usable again and
(2) a mysterious drive H appeared in file search when I would usb the computer to the kindle. . A message would say "put a disc in drive H" this drive H would not stay on long enough to let me eject it.
