Again if anyone’s interested, this from Bluefire iOS documentation: ‘when you have authorised Bluefire Reader, you can read ebooks that have been copy-protected with Adobe DRM. You can also transfer ebooks that have been downloaded to other readers.’
My guess is that the key bit is turning the acsm file into the ePub file. An app that can read Adobe ebooks is needed for the first step and then that ePub is authorised to be read by any device that is also connected to that Adobe account (up to the standard 6).
