Sorry, but what does that have to do with the question @cormaca is asking? They want to know if a book with Adobe DRM that has been dowloaded to an iPad can be put onto a Kobo ereader and then read. Suggesting they use a computer and remove the DRM does not answer that question. And honestly, I want to know but have no way to test.
@cormaca: It might work. I just tried copying a book from the ADE directory on the PC to my Adobe authorised device, and I was able to read it. That at least means you do not need to use ADE to put the DRM protected book on the device. It will depend on whether the app used on the iPad will download books in the DRMed books in the same way, and whether you can copy them to the device.
I can't test this. My iPad is fairly old and I don't have a way to connect the ereader to it. And my Android phone doesn't support OTG, so I can't try on that.
