Sure, but it's not all about speed. Each device has different characteristics and one values them as a whole. I hardly use Kobo Clara HD because I like the lighting of other devices much better. I prefer to take 5' more to read a book than to be continually looking at a screen that I don't like. It is a personal assessment.
