Hi

I have a strange problem. I have a kindle Voyage dedicated to Fan Fiction. I use both docx and rtf to create my ebooks. I add a cover via the Calibre extension Create Cover, I then convert to AZW3 files.

I connect my Kindle via USB and using Calibre I send the AZW3 files to my Voyage. I have 100s of ebooks loaded and for 99% of them everything is fine, but now and again (today I sent 10 and my problem affects 6) the book appears on my kindle without a cover, and hardly any options, compared to a proper AZW3 file, for example i can't mark it as read. Its not marked as a personal doc, and I can bold fonts etc, so its like these books are a hybrid betterrn AZW3 and Mobi.

i'm really confused. I can't work out why its happening. Its very disconcerting. Has anyone any idea whats going on?
