This forum is amazing!
After a lot of deliberating I finally decided to buy an e-reader, the Kobo Libra H2O. It seemed to tick plenty of boxes: the size, the ergonomics, frequent firmware updates, overdrive intergration, and the list goes a bit on. But last, and certainly not least: the relative openness of the platform, this community and the development and modding that goes on around here.
I live in Israel, and am a native Hebrew speaker.
My short term goals regarding my new purchase are
0. Get my forum signature privileges.
1. To complete reading my 1st book on the Kobo: Margaret Atwood's The Testaments - seemed only appropriate for these dystopian days.
2. Dip my toes in modding the device. I already did some light customization by adding some fonts from Google Fonts (I just found a test file here, haven't gotten around to testing how well the device handles variable fonts). Would probably prioritize enabling advanced font setting to custom fonts and adding a Hebrew keyboard.
3. Report a bug or two I came across (where do I do that? can't seem to find how to contact Kobo's support).
