I bought a three-volume set that's been on my list for a while, because it just went on sale. It's also not purely recreational reading; I understand it puts some interesting spins onto some superhero tropes I've been digging into recently.

Oh, and I also did my gift card credit balance a favor by reading the Absolute Carnage event through my local library's Hoopla connection. The five book/month limit meant I had to split the read between December and January, but I'm rather glad I didn't buy some of those volumes...
