Here are things to try:
1. rename your "sigil.ini" file that is in your Sigil Preferences Folder to something else as it can get corrupted and prevent start-up
2. perform a safe restart of your machine to disable all third-party os extensions that might be interfering. If that works, then we will ned to track down the misbehaving extension by systematic trial and error.
3. Temporarily disable your AntiVirus software as it can interfere with Sigil. If Sigil works when your AV is off, then figure out how to tell your AV to leave Sigil alone.
4. Make sure you have updated to the very latest versions of your video driver.
