The postings on the Amazon Kindle discussion board degenerated into obscene name calling by the original poster/purchaser and others who suggested she was crazy/attention seeking/whatever - some of which were removed by Amazon. There was also a post that suggested bj's was using an Amazon storefront to sell used Kindles - confusing them with Amazon(?) in some people's minds. No actual sightings of Kindles were made in any brick & mortar store.
